The CORE Values of a Championship Mindset

I know it's a scary process of finding a financial advisor.

  • Who can you trust?
  • Who can you count on?
  • Are you going to be made fun of or treated like a financial failure?
  • How do you know you're not being sold something you don't want, don't understand, don't like  or can't afford?

I want financial planning and strategizing to be fun, exciting and life changing because it is all about you!   One of my motto's is "we don't know what we don't know we don't know."  Huh?    Here's an example:  How many times have you called an 800# with a question, getting an answer and then later finding out you didn't get the full story or explanation because the person on the other hand didn't listen, understand, assumed, or was in a hurry to get you off the line?  When you later find out you didn't get the full story you may feel unhappy because time, money or energy may have been wasted.

When I sit down with my clients I know that they are relying on me to steer them in the right direction.   I help clients be aware of the full story because it's my job to inform them of what they don't know they don't know so they are in a position to make an informed decision.  My philosophy is treat clients' values and money as how I would want my values and money treated if I wasn't proficient in the various aspects that go into financial and wealth management.

Here are my key values when I work with you:

Confidence I believe the best is yet to come . . . and I'm dedicated to helping my clients choose what's best for their unique circumstances. Your money is personal; and as a result of my highly customized process, I may know more about my clients than even their own families and friends! They trust my honest and experienced guidance in helping them make good decisions as their goals and objectives evolve over time.

Optimism My clients see me as their financial “caddy” as we work together creating a customized performance plan. I help them stay focused and confident, while maintaining great faith in the future (instead of getting derailed by wild market fluctuations). I've been through lots of history and have seen today's market "craziness" before.

Responsiveness I've got the tenacity to overcome short-term obstacles to help you achieve your long-term objectives. I am a hard-worker and always accountable—with no excuses or short cuts. All calls and e-mails are handled promptly by me or my staff. As an athlete, I possess the ability to perform well under pressure (and skating confidently over thin ice is a specialty).

Excellence You cannot win a gold medal without a winning strategy and long-term planning. There are no shortcuts to getting rich and to keeping your wealth. My hard work, decades of experience, and accessibility have earned many praises from clients. But it's my unique championship mindset and unyielding commitment to excellence that they appreciate the most.
